Dear Colleagues,

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great holiday season. I wanted to let you know that after 40 years of practicing dentistry, I will be retiring February 28th. I am thrilled that Dr. Tom Closurdo will be taking over my practice. I have great confidence that he will carry on with the same quality of dentistry that I have tried to provide to my patients.

I wanted to thank those of you whom I have worked with over the years. I am proud of our dental community and the high level of care that we all strive to provide our patients day in and day out. One of the highlights in my dental career was when many of you donated your time to help me maintain Tim Kulik’s practice after his accident. It showed me how compassionate and caring you all were in a time of need. It was awesome that competitors could come together to help their fellow dentist. Thank you to all who were involved in helping during this difficult period.

I have also enjoyed my time working and serving on various committees in North Central Dental Society. I know our society is strong, thanks to the dental leadership and Laura Burton leading the way.

My health is good, but it is time for Nancy and me to be able to travel, spend more time at the lake, and see as many of our 5 grandchildren’s activities in Carmel and Zionsville, Indiana as possible.

I do plan to keep my license active and want to let you all know, should you need a dentist to cover your office, either for vacation or illness,  I am available and would enjoy helping. Thanks again to those of you during my career, who have assisted me either with common patients or advice. I am blessed to know all of you.
