The Foundation, established in 2001, supports the Dental Society by funding continuing education events, promoting community programs, and providing grants to dental students within our component. Thanks to the generous contributions from our North Central members, we have been able to assist many dental and auxiliary students. Although it may seem like only a drop in the bucket, these funds have provided vital support to help bridge the gap when student loans fall short. The founders recognized the need to fund continuing education events and scientific seminars that would attract quality speakers to our area, offering convenient locations for our members and facilitating access to valuable continuing education credit hours for licensing in the dental field.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on the generous donations from our members to maintain an investment portfolio. A percentage of the portfolio's financial growth is allocated to the following categories:
-
Promoting dental student candidates who plan to practice in our component
-
Providing grants to dental hygienists and assistants residing in our component
-
Attracting quality continuing education speakers in collaboration with the North Central Dental Society
-
Supporting community programs
-
Raising community awareness
It is a source of pride for North Central members that we are one of the few components still operating a Foundation. This has not been an easy task. We would be honored if you would consider making a donation to support our dental profession locally. Contributions are welcomed at any time. However, when you renew your dues, you can also donate by checking the appropriate box, submitting a check to the business office or by clicking the box below to donate via credit card.

"My educational pursuits would not be possible without your generous donation. Thank you for your confidence and willingness to help me achieve my goals. I hope one day I will be able to pay this forward and help future students reach their goals by assisting them in the same way you are helping me. Thank you again for your generosity."
